Americaninvsco.net posed a formidable challenge. It had developed a malady common to corporate websites, becoming clogged with useful information that lacked focus. Redesigning it was a major collaborative undertaking.
The goals were clear: draw attention to key features and simplify navigation to eliminate confusion. Additionally, the visual appeal of the original site improved and details were communicated with more clarity. The result is essentially a rebranding of the company. While the logo and spirit of AmericanInvsco remains unchanged, the site now presents its offerings in a new light.
Gigantic
This weblog's design minimizes distraction from the writing itself. Meta information and tangential content are relegated to their own pages, eliminating the ubiquitous blog sidebar and focusing on the writing alone. It meets the simple goals of both user and author, and is crisp in appearance without feeling spartan.
